About the Role
We are seeking a UX / Service Designer to lead the design of AI Assistant for Experts, an AI-powered support solution for OEM. In this role, you will create intuitive, trusted, and efficient user experiences that help internal experts, dealers, and technicians quickly access technical information, improve troubleshooting, receive AI-powered recommendations, and provide feedback for continuous improvement. Working closely with AI specialists, technical experts, product owners, and business stakeholders, you will drive UX and service design for the MVP, ensuring the solution delivers measurable user value while establishing a strong foundation for future development.

Responsibilities
•Lead UX and service design from concept to MVP and beyond.
•Structure the design work across current state, MVP experience.
•Translate business goals, user needs and technical constraints into clear design direction.
•Define and prioritize key expert/dealer use cases for the MVP.
•Shape core interaction patterns for the AI assistant.
•Define answer structure for AI-generated responses, including how to handle sources, recommendations, uncertainty, next steps and feedback.
•Design experiences that help users understand, trust and act on AI-generated support.
•Plan and execute user validation with internal experts, dealers and/or technicians.
•Gather insights, identify improvements and translate findings into actionable design decisions.
•Support the Commercial Owner and cross-functional team in shaping scope, priorities and experience direction.
•Work closely with AI and technical information experts to understand data, content and model-related constraints.
•Identify content gaps, workflow issues, trust barriers and future opportunities during MVP development.
•Help establish structured feedback and learning loops to support continuous improvement.
•Contribute to a future opportunity backlog based on learnings from MVP design, validation and usage.


Qualifications & Skills Required
•Strong UX design experience, with the ability to move quickly from problem framing to concepts, prototypes and validated design decisions.
•Strong understanding of UX design principles and user-centered design methods.
•Experience designing complex workflows, expert users or operational/service environments.
•Strong service design capability, including journey mapping, workflow analysis and stakeholder alignment.
•Experience working directly with users to gather insights and validate concepts.
•Experience defining interaction patterns, information structures and user flows for digital products.
•Strong facilitation skills, including planning and leading workshops with cross-functional stakeholders.
•Ability to balance MVP delivery with long-term product and service vision.
•Experience working with AI-driven products, decision-support tools or intelligent assistants is highly valuable.
•Understanding of service, dealer, technical support, parts or troubleshooting workflows is a strong plus.
•Experience working with technical documentation, knowledge bases or content-heavy digital services is beneficial.
•Strong communication skills and the ability to align stakeholders around user value, scope and design priorities.

Tools & Required level of Expertise
•Figma – Able to create flows, wireframes, prototypes, UI concepts and reusable design components.
•FigJam / Miro or similar collaboration tools – Able to facilitate workshops, map journeys, structure insights and align stakeholders.
•User research and validation methods – Able to plan, conduct and synthesize interviews, usability tests, concept validations and feedback sessions.
•Journey mapping / service blueprinting – Able to visualize current and future workflows, pain points, dependencies and opportunities.
•Design documentation – Able to clearly document design rationale, decisions, assumptions, risks and recommendations.
•AI-assisted design and productivity tools – Comfortable using AI tools to support research synthesis, ideation, scenario writing, content structuring, design documentation and concept exploration.
•Microsoft 365 Copilot / Copilot Chat or similar enterprise AI tools – Able to use AI support for summarising material, structuring workshops, analyzing input, creating drafts, identifying themes and preparing stakeholder communication.
•AI prototyping tools / conversational prototyping tools – Able to prototype AI assistant flows, prompt-response experiences, conversational patterns, answer structures and feedback loops.

Additional Information
•Experience with AI assistant, chatbot or conversational interface design.
•Experience defining AI answer structures, confidence/uncertainty patterns, source citation patterns and feedback loops.
•Experience working with analytics or usage insights to inform product/service development.
•Experience working with design systems and existing component libraries.
•Familiarity with technical information systems, manuals, support tools or dealer/service platforms.
