Job Description: Purview Specialist (Consultant – 200 Hours)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Purview Specialist to support a 200-hour project focused on implementing and optimizing Microsoft Purview. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in data governance, classification, and compliance within Microsoft Purview, along with prior experience integrating Kriptos for labeling and classification.
This role requires a Spanish-speaking professional with strong client-facing and technical delivery skills, ensuring smooth collaboration across global and regional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Microsoft Purview for enterprise-level governance.
• Configure and manage data classification, sensitivity labeling, and compliance policies.
• Integrate Kriptos with Purview to enable automated data labeling and classification.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align data governance with regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Provide best practices, training, and documentation in Spanish for end-users and administrators.
• Conduct data discovery and lineage mapping to improve visibility and control over sensitive data.
• Ensure security, privacy, and compliance standards are met across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Deliver project tasks on schedule within the 200-hour engagement window.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT experience with a strong focus on data governance, compliance, and information security.
• Hands-on expertise in Microsoft Purview (compliance portal, governance portal, sensitivity labeling, DLP, classification policies).
• Proven experience integrating Kriptos with Microsoft Purview for automated classification.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance ecosystem.
• Excellent communication skills in Spanish (native or fluent proficiency).
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience delivering projects in a consulting or enterprise environment.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft certifications (e.g., SC-400: Information Protection Administrator, SC-900, or related Purview certifications).
• Knowledge of Azure Information Protection (AIP) and Microsoft Defender integration with Purview.
• Experience in multinational, regulated industries (banking, healthcare, legal, or government).
• Ability to create clear technical documentation and training materials in Spanish.
