Job Title: Transmission Pole Design- Proposal Engineer (6-12 Years Experience)

Job Overview:
We are looking for an engineer to support the design and proposal of transmission poles for power line projects. This role involves creating pole designs, performing calculations, and helping prepare bids for clients. The ideal candidate has experience in transmission line engineering and is familiar with design tools like PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE.
Key Responsibilities:
Design transmission poles (steel, concrete, or wood) based on project requirements
Use software like PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE for structural analysis
Prepare drawings, material lists, BoM, and basic design documents
Review client bid requests and ensure designs meet requirements
Work with other teams (civil, electrical, etc.) to support proposal development
Help estimate costs based on design and materials
Experience in proposal or bid preparation
Knowledge of design standards (e.g., ASCE, NESC)
Skilled in design software (PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, AutoCAD, etc.)
Skills & Qualifications:
· 6–12 experience in transmission pole design and proposal engineering.
